Peel police have revealed that a 68-year-old man from Wasaga Beach, who serves as the president and owner of King of the Ring, faces a staggering 52 criminal charges related to historical sex crimes. The gym, operating for over two decades, has been at the center of a recent investigation by law enforcement.
According to police statements, the accused allegedly committed numerous sexual assaults on multiple youth victims during his tenure at King of the Ring. On March 27, following the execution of search warrants in Wasaga Beach and Brampton, authorities apprehended the suspect.
The charges against him include sexual assault, sexual interference, corrupting a minor, and making child pornography, highlighting the severity and range of the alleged offenses. The arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing efforts to address such criminal activities and ensure justice for the victims involved.
