Students across Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga are in for an extended break this Easter weekend, as schools under both the Peel District School Board and the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board will be closed on Good Friday (April 18) and Easter Monday (April 21).
The closures apply to both elementary and secondary schools, giving students a four-day weekend to relax and enjoy time with family.
Looking ahead, the next holiday on the calendar is Victoria Day, which falls on Monday, May 19. Catholic school students in the region will enjoy an extra-long weekend again, thanks to a PA Day scheduled for Friday, May 16, giving them another four-day break.
