Brampton firemens are fighting a blaze at a house in the area of Dixie Road and Sandalwood Parkway today (Sept. 29).

A social networks message by Brampton Fire and Emergency Providers reported crews were “defensive” at the time, functioning to see to it the fire doesn’t spread out.

“Grateful to be able to report citizens of the home looked out by working smoke detector as well as evacuated securely,” said Rob Martin, replacement fire chief of operations and training with Brampton Fire and Emergency Providers.
Peel cops report there are no injuries, but there are roadway closures on Mainard Crescent.
